Born in California wine country in 1998, Anton
moved to the Vino Nobile estate of Carpineto
(Montepulciano, Siena) at the age of 4. Vines and
cellars have always been part of his scenery, his
playground and certainly his passion. A level 3
graduate from the Associazione Italiana Sommelier, he
has worked in the vineyards and in the cellars of
Carpineto throughout and after his high school career.
He has then worked vintage at Brown Brothers in
Victoria, Australia, as well as two harvests at Schloss
Vollrads in the Rheingau region of Germany.

He recently graduated from Geisehneim, one of Europe's premier wine schools in their International
Wine Business program. He now looks to the future as being a brand ambassador internationally for
Carpineto and learning all the workings of the family run organization, from his father, Antonio Jr. and
grandfather, Antonio Sr. He is fluent in Italian, English, Spanish, and struggling with German.
